Another of our daytime meetings, long time member Paula Sutton will be running a making session. Assuming the weather is good, the session will start with a short outside demonstration of smoke firing, where the smoking is done in a roasting tin (it only takes a couple of minutes per item).
Followed by a burnishing demonstration.
If you bring some small burnished bisque ware you can join in with some smoke firing!
Rubbed smooth with the back of a metal spoon when clay is leatherhard.
